You must agree to the following warranty exclusion and limitation of liability to download and use software provided by this project.
I expressly understand and agree that this software is a non-commercially developed program that may contain "bugs" (as that term is used in the industry) and that it may not function as intended. The software is licenced "as is". NSA and the participants of this project make no, and hereby expressly disclaim all, warranties, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise with respect to the software, including noninfringement and the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
In no event will NSA or the participants in this project be liable for any damages, including loss of data, lost profits, cost of cover, or other special, incidental, consequential, direct or indirect damages arising from the software or the use thereof, however caused and on any theory of liability. This limitation will apply even if NSA and/or the project participants have been advised of the possibility of such damage. I acknowledge that this is a reasonable allocation of risk.
Although NSA affiliates participate in some aspects of this project to pursue NSA SELinux research goals, the project and its products are not endorsed or evaluated by NSA. The software available from this project is subject to the same legal disclaimers as the original NSA SELinux prototype. Although NSA affiliates may have participated in this project and undertaken or suggested some project work, this project is not sponsored by NSA and nothing here constitutes a request for proposal or a commitment by the National Security Agency to anyone for the procurement of equipment, services, or any obligation. The National Security Agency reserves the right to not pursue this project or any task in this project, and to discontinue, at any time, participation in the project or work in progress by any of its employees and contractors.
